Purchase: I bought the irons at an off course golf store for about $460 for 3I - SW about 18 months ago. I have not been satisfied with these irons. For the 11 years prior to buying the TA-5 irons, I had played Ping Eye2+ irons and now I feel like a dope for selling them. The Pings had a much better feel, less vibration on off-center hits, and I got more distance with the Pings. Right now, I'm about 90% sure I'm going to dump the Clevelands and go back to Pings.
Pros: When I bought them, I liked to look of the clubs and I was hoping they would be an improvement over the much older Ping Eye2+ irons.
Cons: At this point, after playing them for 18 months, there is nothing I like about the TA-5 irons.
Quality: Good construction, but I'm not sure about the quality. To me, they are not in the same ball park with Ping irons.

Purchase: I purchased the irons from a franchised retail store for around $450.00.Recently,this model has come down on price.(Just my luck). I wanted a club that I could work the ball better with in comparison to my Big Bertha irons.
Pros: I like just about everything that this club has to offer. The heads seem to frame the ball good at address.I like the comfort of the sensicore shafts. Most of all I feel like I can draw or fade the ball as required on a given shot situation.
Cons: The only problem I have had is the plastic ferril just above the head has came loose on two or three clubs.Other than that,I am pleased.
Quality: I think that the quality is good in this Cleveland product. The components used are top of the line.

Review Summary: Very good club for the mid handicapper. My next ivestment is to try the Cleveland Launcher driver.I think I will wait until they come down in price first!!
