Purchase: I purchased this set of irons from a local pro shop. I was looking to upgrade as my golf skills have been improving. I've been playing for about six months now, and felt that I should get a mid-handicap clubs. I paid around $400, brand new.
Pros: I like the look of the gunmetal. The clubs have a nice feel and good distance. The three and the four irons are easy to hit. The grips are nice
Cons: I don't like the offset style of the head.
Quality: these are high quality irons...I haven't had any problems with the irons, and they still feel like new after 30 rounds of golf.

Review Summary: These clubs are perfect for the mid-handicappers, but I am ready to move on to the blade irons.

Purchase: I bought these at Bass Pro Shop in Cincinnati Ohio in May of 2001. It was a demo set and I paid $299 for 3-pw and $84 for a 56 degree 588 Gunmetal Wedge. (Bass Pro Shop in Cincinnati no longer sells Golf Equiptment)
Pros: These irons seem to align and set up easily to the ball. These irons provide a nice trajectory when hit correctly. The sensicore steel shafts, in stiff flex, along with the vibration absorption system and softer steel in the gunmetal clubs allow for a softer feel on all shots.
Cons: The PW is a 45 degree and with the 56 degree sand wedge I purchased I will need, which I have just done, to purchase the 50 degree dual wedge. This will allow me to have a club between the 110 yards that hit the Pitching Wedge and the 60 yards I hit the Sand Wedge.
Quality: The quality with the Cleveland TA5's is excellent. I've had mine for over a year now and I play 2-3 times a week. They still look great and I have never had a problem with these clubs. I will need to replace the grips this year, but that is through normal wear and tear.

Review Summary: This is the best set I have ever bought. Of all the clubs that I have ever bought or used this is one of the best and if Cleveland ever makes a TA7 in Gunmetal that would be the only clubs that I would replace these with, as of this time.
