Purchase: Lifted from 2nd Swing in Burnsville, MN for about 300 bones. Sticks were in perfect condition. Take the time and have your sticks shipped in. The 3 and 4 irons didnt have any marks!! Have R300 TTDG's in the clubs. Pros: Great feel with forgiveness (tons) and workability. These irons work great. I have had the old TA7's and the offset doesnt look good to me. These have a bit less offset than the TA2's but with less muscle back and a thicker sole.
Distance is very consistent. Spin rates arent as high as some other clubs I have hit, but I play the ProV1x and my ball flight is usually high in the scoring irons anyway. By the way, this set is te first set where I can acurately use the 3 iron. So I put the 2 iron HALO in the bag.
Feel is pretty good for a cast club due to the soft steel they use in the clubs. Have had the old TA2's before, and these clubs hold up a bit better than the finish on the 2's.
Loft combinations are great and the clubs are rock solid.
Have hit the 704cb's, TA7, TA2, RACLT and these are by far the best.
Can work the ball with these too. Not that I shape every shot, but when you need to hold a line in a cross wind, knock it down, etc, these guys wont disappoint!! Cons: nada. Maybe the grip. Quality: Top notch. Finish is good. Review Summary: Very playable for single digits. Might not work well with the above avg weekender, but they are confidence inspiring. These will not disappoint. Dont know how available these are, but if you are thinking about these, go take a look at some of the 2nd swings, and you will be rewarded....especially by price. Works well off firm and soft conditions.

Purchase: Purchased on Ebay in June '03 for a great price of $400, they were practically new. Had been using Mizuno TC29 irons since '92 and was time for new sticks. Read all the good reviews of the TA7 so went to local golf shop to look at them. Liked the 'Tour' model setup better, so decided to take a chance and buy em without having hit them. Really love them. Pros: Setup of club behind ball instills confidence, very square. Very good looking club, not too big, not too small. Very forgiving, and mishits are excellent in terms of not stinging. One hit on the screws and I was hooked, feel is like warm butter. Distance is good with nice medium high ball flight. Short irons are very accurate. Cons: Honestly can't think of any. If I had to say something, it would be that they're a little bigger than a 'player's' club. Quality: Can tell just by looking at them they're top quality. After hitting them, you know they are. Review Summary: I would recommend these irons for 15 or so handicap and lower. They're forgiving but you can work them left and right and get good feedback from them. I'm a 6 hdcp and I think the scratch player could even benefit from these clubs.
They've inspired me to want to be a better player so I can get the full benefits of these irons. They've definitely already improved my score and have instilled the important confidence we all need to enjoy the game.
Unless Cleveland comes out with a better iron, these will be in the bag for years.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
