On 2004-08-30, Steven M. rated this Cleveland TA7 w/ Steel Sensicore Shafts a 5...(4224)

Purchase: got these clubs as a christmas gift, but they were purchased on ebay for around 350 bucks which is a steal.
Pros: The clubs have an offset so they do help the high handicapper but they are very workable as well. I chose TA7's in stiff steel and yet I noticed a large increase in distance even though I was using a stiffer shaft. All told these clubs are about 2 clubs longer than my previous irons. If you are considering these irons I would say try them first and try a little stiffer shaft than you think you need because they do seem to be a little softer than a true stiff shaft. Another positive about the shafts is that they seem to get rid of all but the worst vibrations due to mishits. you very get stung with the sensicore shafts. I absolutely love the 7-pw they put a lot of spin on the ball and help to hold greens. also I have never been able to hit a 3 iron well but these are an exception pretty easy to get up in the air and surprisingly straight.
Cons: the grips do seem to be a little rough but they have held up very well, but if you dont have a good glove they can chew up your hand.
Quality: the micro-cavities I dont know if they do anthing but dirt can get in them which kinda sucks but thats ok, finish seems to be very tough, and grips have held up very well.

Review Summary: Always try before you but but I think you will enjoy these but it will take some getting used to your new distances. These clubs seemed to fix my fade and turn it into a nice little draw.
