Cleveland Tour Action 1 Golf Irons - Reviews

Purchase: I acquired the TA1's through a used Golf Store based in Ohio called 2nd Swing Golf. I traded in a set of Taylormade Firesole Tours and paid about an $80 difference, to acquire this set. I wasn't sure what I was getting into when I purchased them, but man am I glad I did!
Pros: These Irons are absolutely awesome. I've hit several different forged blades and none compare to these. Compared to the Mizuno MP-33's and MP-14's, Hogan Apex Edge, Nike, and Taylormade RAC MB. The irons have a great look when standing over a shot, and the gunmetal finish creates such ease when framing the clubface on the right target line. Mine have the s-300 shafts with Golf Pride Tour Velvet Grips. The price and the quality is a GREAT DEAL.
Cons: Not much negative feedback. On mishits the ball doesn't travel normal distance...but that is all blades. The biggest pet peeve is how the cleveland lettering is white on the sole of the club, so it gets dirty easily. hehe
Quality: The quality of the unit is impeccable. Face wears away after many many hits just like most clubs. The paint on the club comes off pretty easily from my experiences, but that is no biggie. Grooves stay pretty solid and do not wear down much, unlike many other competitive clubs.

Review Summary: The club is overall very solid. Not many sets of irons surpass the TA 1's. Looks, feedback, workability, swing weight, etc. The club is awesome. Not much else to say but...WOW.
