Purchase: I bought the club new at a Golf Mart in San Francisco for $119. I had been looking into hybrids for quite a while and was wanting to get a club that was under $150, sized up well with the 3 iron I was replacing (Titleist DCI+ Black) in the way of length, lie, loft and swingweight, and looked good at address.
Pros: This club is excellent. It sets up great, it has a nice, traditional look at address, which is what I prefer, you can feel the club head really well on the swing, and it feels and sounds terrific at impact. It's easy to control trajectory, and you can work a fade or draw pretty well, other than other hybrids I've tried which balloon the ball and are straight plays only. One point I'd like to make when choosing either a stiff or regular flex in the steel version is go with the regular even if you swing greater than 100mph but less than 130mph. You would think stiff shaft all the way, but I've found that the regular flex is better at getting the ball up in the air a bit more and I swing about 100-110mph and use stiff flex True Temper S300 shafts on my irons.
Cons: The only dislike is the grip. It's of the tour velvet variety and is ok, but I prefer a wrap grip, so had that changed. I played one round with the stock grip in misty weather and lost control of a few shots because of it. That's an easy fix though.
Quality: Great quality, just like anything Cleveland puts together. You can lean on this club for sure. It feels strong and looks strong. Don't hesitate to give it a rip.

Review Summary: If you're in the game for a hybrid that is slightly shorter in length, shaft-wise, than other hybrids on the market, this is your club. I've tried no less than 15 brands over the course of the year and many balloon shots or have shafts that are too long and still difficult to control, or club heads that sound clunky or thin. This club has it all. No regrets on this purchase - period.
