Purchase: I got this club as a gift this summer. I believe it retails for around $105. I wanted the club to get out of high-sided bunkers, and to use on shots will little to no green. Sometimes 56* isn't enough so I picked up this 60* club, my 4th wedge, to fill out my bag.
Pros: From the first swing of the club I noticed how well the club translated my swing into the ball. I like how it picks up subtleties in my golf swing. The softness and feel of this club are unmatched as far as I am concerned. The factory grip has worked well for me so far. It is comparable to any other factory wedge grip. It is thin and somewhat firm, but I really wouldn't want a big soft Winn grip when I am trying to make a delicate shot.
Cons: I have no problems with this golf club. I highly recommend it. The only problem I have is that all of my friends want to borrow it. It makes me nervous.
Quality: The club is really well made. A very high quality product. The 588 has been one of the best wedges out there for years. The finish is not wearing away at all and club itself seems to be holding up pretty well.

Review Summary: If you are looking for a super soft, well made, dependable lob wedge, buy this club you will not regret it. This club can help you become a true shot maker close to the green. Be ready for the spin it might create compared to your other wedges. Also be ready to take some shots off of your game.
