On 2004-12-11, John from SoCal rated this Cobra 400SZ Offset 10.5 Degree a 5...(4838)

Purchase: Roger Dunn Super Store in Santa Ana, CA. They carry a lot of used clubs but only had this new for $299. Was able to pick up an offset 3 wood and 7 wood (used) for only $99 while there.
Pros: Name the club and I have tried it. TM 580, TM 360, Wilson fat shaft,etc.,etc. Have a lot of problem with a slice and this club has cured it. Because the ball goes straight it has added 30+ yards to my drive.I even hit an occasional draw with it.
Cons: Would have preferred a 9 degree since most drives with the 10.5 are a little high, but closing the club face some seems to help.
Quality: Good regular flex shaft. Handsome head is not 'garish' . Easy to line up.

Review Summary: Cobra offset clubs are a great cure for the golfer who consistently tends to slice. My swing speed is slow but the Cobra's seem to move the ball further than any other that I have used. I'm SOLD!!
