Purchase: I bought this club as an ex-demo due to a limited budget for NZ$274/US$190 . It obviously had not been used much and is effectively new. I wanted to upgrade my general game and figured I needed more control and distance off the tee, so bought this club. Other details: 9.0 degree, stiff shaft.
Pros: Until now, I have been relatively long off the tee, but never anything too spectacular. I naturally hit my drives high, with the occasional fade. When I tried this club, I was instantly hitting the ball with a much improved trajectory, slight draw, and about 30 metres further than my previous driver. The control I had of this driver was instant and very much impressive. I no longer have any hint of a fade and must now be careful not to lose control with a draw. The distance alone was a huge improvement but the main factor is I no longer have any fear for drives into the wind as I have the confidence knowing I will land on (or very near to) the fairway.
Cons: Not really anything. It makes a loud noise on impact, so everyone on the range knows you're there. Not a problem because when they look, they see the ball sailing straight and far.
Quality: Outstanding. King Cobra drivers is in my opinion underrated and it would be a waste of money to buy a more expensive driver, as this would have no effect.
