Purchase: i bought the club from my best friend for £350! i was pleased because it retails at £450 apparently!
Pros: I like the look of the club, its really big! Its especialy useful, for hitting the missus, when she does not let me play golf at the course down my road!
Cons: I was dissapointed with the club, it was not what I was expecting, not at all! It was big, which I like but I often found it was too big and at other times not nearly big enough. Sometimes the club hits the ball but at other times I have to hit it myself, this was very disapointing, because it hurts my hands! Also when the club does hit the titleist pro v-1 golf ball (if ever!)it often shanks the titleist pro v-1 golf ball and often hooks the titleist pro v-1 golf ball (sometimes in the same hit!)
Quality: The club has certainly been constructed nearly as well as the titleist pro v-1 golf ball but I would have to say that because it is bigger than the titleist pro v-1 golf ball I prefer it to the titleist pro v-1 golf ball. However If you are looking for a ball with which to play golf I would recomend the titleist pro v-1 golf ball above the Cobra sz440 stiff shaft driver, because the Cobra sz440 stiff shaft driver does not travel far when hit (perhaps 10 or 20 yards at the most). Review Summary: The Cobra sz440 stiff shaft driver certainly compares favourably to the Cobra sz400 stiff shaft driver (because both are no good at all!).The Cobra sz440 stiff shaft driver is big but if bigness is all you want in a driver then you should have your head examined! Stupid! But I bought it becuase it was big, perhaps I need my head examined! Seriously the club sometimes hits the titleist pro v-1 golf ball an absolute country mile and sometimes hardly a country yard. Perhaps it will be better for the more consistent player but perhaps for the inconsistent player. It up to you, happy golfing (if the missus will let you!)

Purchase: I couldnt drive to save my life - all slices and 260 yards at best. The pro said 'try this' and gave me a Cobra 440.
Since then I regularly dirve 280-300 yards... and straight. In the summer with hard fairways I often drive 330 yard greens. No BS. I'm risking prosecution for egularly clearing the back fence at the driving range (50 foot high 250 yards away... uphill.....YO!)
It's safe to say that this club saves me 5-10 shots per round. Maybe more.
Pros: It's scuffed to death, dented and beat up, Who cares. It hits with a mighty crack that hurts the ears. The face is huge. Total mishits still go 200 yards. If you really slice or pull it the distance is so great that you'll miss the trees and land on the next door fairway.
My 2 over round was in the south of France last summer where there was very little rough. Could whack the hell out of it and play the second from wherever it went. I was regularly pitching wedges into 430 yard holes. What more can you want?
Cons: No complaints at all. I have recommended this to all my friends.
Quality: Its been beaten up in my bag for two years and still works fine. It's built fine. Review Summary: Look - it turned a slugging idiot like me into a consistently straight big hitting idiot - so overall I can recommend this without hesitation. It's been replaced now so they are ridiculously cheap. Saw one for £85 the other week.
Do yourself a favour and start clearing the fence too.

Purchase: Paid $299 from Golfsmith, demo'd it at Golf Course we regularly play. I didn't think much of it at that time. Then I tried it during a round after a friend bought it. I immediately hit the next drive 285!
Pros: Forgiveness in contact is great. Direction 80% even on "mishits". Construction quality is top of the line as golf equipment goes.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Quality: Great finish, shaft is quality, grip, everything! Review Summary: I have a set of Liquidmetal irons and woods. My 10.5 LM driver was pretty good, I averaged 235 yards with it. After the SZ440, my average drive has gone up to 250+, and I've already hit several drives 300+ which only happened once a year with the LM driver. I love the trajectory and hang time I get with this bad boy!
