Purchase: This driver was given to me as a gift from the Burning Ridge Golf Course Pro here in Myrtle Beach. Prior to using the Cobra, I was using a Taylor Made 200 Steel with Graphite Shaft, and tried my friends older Cobra model the 350SS. This driver has put me into places on courses I have never seen off the tee. SUPER on forgiveness and the mishits go as far as my older driver. The best part is this driver is much less $$$$ than the others on the market and just as long or longer. I like it so much, I was going to trade my 3 & 5 woods in for the Cobra's, but their performance (demo'd them on the range) is nothing like the drivers!
Pros: I like the feel, takes awhile to get used to the sound on hits, and the overall confidence this club has given me off the tee!
Cons: The sound, but when you look up and it's sailing out and going and going, it's quickly forgotten.
Quality: I will say the first day I took this out, the grip started twisting and became loose. I thought it was tacky that Cobra just sent a replacement grip in the mail. I grip my own clubs, so it wasn't a problem. Other construction and workmanship on the club is first class.

Review Summary: This driver is a top seller but doesn't get the advertising dollars of the bigger boys although it ranks up or above them. I demo's the Callaway ERC II and that's what it comes in when tested against this driver, second. If you have a fade, the 2* closed face will help. If you have a bad slice, try the offset. Contact Cobra Golf to see where a demo site is at in your area. I also demo'd the irons, they are a club shorter than mine....
