Details: 454cc 9 degrees loft standard adila shaft

Purchase: I purchased the club online for $239.00. Have owned and have liked Taylormade Drivers. Started with the Firesole, then purchased the R540 for more forgiveness. Have been happy with the Taylormade's but have to watch leaving them out to the right. Recently went to a local club day and tried many new drivers, (Nike, Taylormade, Calloway, Titleist, etc.) but stumbled onto the Cobra 454 Comp. First Drive I hit went almost 300 yards with a slight draw! Hit a few more and was sold.
Pros: The first thing I noticed was even as it is a large clubhead, the mass of it is mostly in the sole. The appearance is not startling at all, really not much difference than my Taylormade. The Swingweight is similar to most drivers so there wasn't much to get used to. As I said before, I had a tendency to leave my drives out to the right if I overswung with my old Taylormade, so with the Cobra, I was automatically hooking drives. After about 20 swings, I was hitting the ball straight and about 15-20 yards longer with the Cobra. I don't think the technology is that much different with the Cobra, (my friend has a Nike that goes about as far), but the sweet spot is HUGE. I definitely think I am more confident with the club so I imagine I just swing a little more athletically with it. Miss-hits are still going 260-270 and every now and then I am getting 290 or more.
Cons: I am not really impressed with the head cover that came with the club. It will have to suffice I suppose. Also, the standard grip just doesn't excite me either, so have already purchased new grips for the summer so will be swapping them off soon.
Quality: I have read where some 'know it alls' think the composite top on the clubhead is cheap or inferior to other clubs. I say rubbish. I have never seen not talked to any golfer, professional or long drive champion who has anything bad to say about this club. (Granted, Brian Nash is on the Cobra team, but his swing speed is around 128 and he doesn't have any problems with the driver).

Review Summary: If I could become as comfident with my 3 iron as I am with my new driver, I would be a 5 handicap instead of a ten. For $250 I think the value is great. I dare anyone to show me a driver for 250 bucks that is as forgiving, accurate and long as this club.....except for other Cobras. Hit 'em long folks!

Purchase: I placed a bid on this Driver on e-bay and won!!! 223.00 (New) It was hard to find Note: I'm a lefty
Pros: What I like about this driver .. well everything 1. easy to hit 2. Very long Longer than any driver I'v ever hit ... and yes longer than taylormade both R/7 and R/5 by a good margin.
Cons: N/A
Quality: Composit makes it light and It comes with a great Shaft...

Review Summary: If you want to hit the ball farther and hit it with less effort this is your club... hands down ... Once you hit it a few times your going to be sold!!!

Purchase: I was looking for a more forgiving driver than my Titleist 983K. I tried the Cobra 454 Comp at my local golf shop (Golf Headquarters)and was sold the minute I hit the first ball.
Pros: It has a large sweet spot that allows mis hits to fly straight and far. I have recently owned Titleist 983K and the Taylormade Quad R7, and the Cobra 454 Comp is superior to both in feel and distance.
Cons: There isn't anything I don't like about the Cobra 454 Comp, other than the fact I didn't purchase one sooner.
Quality: When you set up to the ball, you don't get overwhelmed with the size of the club head when looking down at the top of the club, as you do with some other drivers. Although it is 454 CC, it's lightweight construction with the composite top makes the club light and very manageable thru the hitting zone.

Review Summary: It's a great club with a huge sweetspot. I hit this club farther than the Titleist and Taylormade by 10-15 yards. Don't get hung up on the fact not many pros use it. It's a great piece of equipment for the everyday golfer.

Purchase: I recieved this driver as a door prize at a convention. So it was free,,,lucky me. But it was selling for $379 at Wally's Discount Golf in Dallas, TX.
Pros: This driver is visually striking, and got several comments at the range. I loved the full sound it made at contact. A miss hit feeds back immediately as a metal pink, but there vere very few misshits. This driver even made the Hooters girls look good. Big straight shots, and plays a nice fade though it is a bit forced. Club almost hits too straight, if your aim is off,,,oh well.
Cons: Havent found any dislikes yet, but I havent made up my mind about the grip.
Quality: A very quality club,,,but for $400 it should be.

Review Summary: Almost traded it in on a new iron set, but I am glad I kept the 454. I love this club.

Purchase: Purchased used from TGW.com. Having driver issues - including not getting enough clubhead speed for distance, left-right issue, etc. Paid $240
Pros: Club as a whole was WAY lighter than anything I've ever hit, including my Cleveland. Super light shaft with Comp head really well balanced. Best sound of any composite driver I've hit (and I've hit them all). Sound, clubhead size, balance combined gives you extra confidence.
Cons: Don't like the original grips - might be my preference for Lamkin Crosslines.
Quality: Good quality so far.... no dings or scratches, but haven't had it long enough yet.

Review Summary: First time at range... Straight Straight Straight. And LONG! Gained 10+ yards carry. I think it's a combination of confidence with setup, the lighter weight/feel is giving me faster clubhead speed. Overall, allows me to swing away with more confidence, thus correcting the hesitation I've been having with my swing. Ok, so maybe it was my swing, but this club helps in play situation to not think too much about swing. Hit more fairways first round out than I can remember ever.

Purchase: Bought from local driving range after trying most new large headed drivers. Paid £270
Pros: Very forgiving with off centre hits. Still obtains reasonable distance and accuracy. Shaft options suited ny requirement.
Cons: The standard grip is not ideal but no other dislikes.
Quality: Construction compares with far more expensive drivers.

Review Summary: Excellent value driver which I believe has helped to keep more of my drives on the short grass. For me it is not noticably longer than my old Taylor Made but it is more forgiving.
