On 2003-08-05, rickee-z rated this Cobra King Cobra SS 427 Beta Titanium a 5...(1972)

Purchase: Tried Titleist 387K, TM 580, 363. I won this at a drawing.
Pros: After trying out different drivers like Taylor Made 580 and 363, I was going to get the 383K of Titleist. Luckily, I won this driver at a drawing. I immediately tried it. The head is 2 degrees closed so you will need to adjust. It's very easy to set-up. After a few swings, I realized that I was hitting it straight and farther than usual. On my estimate, I gained about 20 to 40 yards.
Cons: Noisy...The sound it makes on caontact with the ball is like a ceramic plate braking. You'll get a lot of attention. Head cover sucks.
Quality: Very nice smooth looking head and shaft.

Review Summary: This is a very nice driver and will really add yardage to any golfer.
