Purchase: I bought this beast on eBay for $300, only because it was brand new and hundred dollars off. I bought a new driver because my Adams RPM Tit. wasnt doing the job anymore and had a regular flex shaft. Rather than putting a nice new shaft on an aged club I upgraded altogether. I went to a Golf Galaxy and hit some drivers in the simulator and liked the feel of the X Speed Pro and FT-5. I went home and did some research at this website and others for the ups and downs of the club.
Pros: Whats not to like? Beefy stiff flex, huge head, and longer walks up the fairway. So people commented on the loud sound but I dont think its bad at all. It makes a clean, powerfull ping and pack your binoculars. I have gained 30-40 yards off a lesser driver from Adams, not a bad club nothing compairs to top of the line. The slight-closed face does not bother me any. I would recommend the stiff speeder flex.
Cons: Trying to help but I can honestly say nothing yet or ever. Although sometimes my draw tendency magnifies with the closed face.
Quality: Solid Cobra has made great drivers after the next. The grip, not much there I will upgrade to a Winn soft,oversized G8.
