Purchase: I paid $128 for a demo 5 wood and headcover at the local golf shop. I needed a fairway wood to fill the distance gap in my (sometimes) balky long irons.
Pros: When I hit it well, shots go high and straight, and generally the same distance as my 3 iron (which I have trouble hitting consistently). When I don't hit it well, well, see below.
Cons: The club head is very small, so there's not a lot of room for error. I've hit it off the toe a number of times, resulting in an immediate out-of-bounds situation, stage right. The club head also appears to be closed at address (more so than the Cobra driver and 3-wood I own), and if I don't adjust for this, I duck-hook it real good. Cobra woods are generally marketed to the mid- to high-handicapper (like yours truly) who needs a lot of forgiveness, but this club doesn't fit that description.
Quality: The club construction is first rate.

Review Summary: A better golfer would probably get a lot of joy from this club. The mid- to high-handicapper, however, is going to have fits trying to get consistent ball flight - this is not a forgiving club.
