Details: Standard set. Nippon steel shafts. 5-SW, incl GW.
Purchase: Clubs bought over internet from golf outlet in the UK. From previous fittings I know that a regular shaft and normal lie suit my build and swing speed.
I paid 368GBP for 5-SW, including GW. This is less than half the price I would have paid if I had bought the clubs in Thailand.
I also bought a 2007 4 iron on Ebay for 10GBP. Pros: They do what I bought them to do. That is give me extra length and height.
They are also far more forgiving than my previous irons. Cleveland CG2's with blue Grafalloy shafts.
The club head seems heavier than the CG2's and I like the feel of knowing where the clubhead is during my swing.
I never use to carry a 4I. Really pleased with this one. Consistently long and straight. Cons: I'm not comfortable with the wide soles on the wedges. A bit concerned that when I open the face up a little I will get some bounce off the turf before contact. Quality: No criticism at all. Good build quality and have solid look at address. Review Summary: The best endorsement I can give these clubs is that for the 6 rounds I've played with them I've consistently played to or better than my handicap and I've yet to lose a ball.
