Purchase: I have been playing golf only for about 6 years and for the whole time I played with Top Flite Magna clubs. Being much improved I figured it was time to buy a new set of irons. I demo'd the Cobra SS Oversize, Nicklaus CXI, and Top Flite XL2000. I really liked the way the Cobra SS Oversize felt. PLus my local golf shop had a set returned! after only being played a few rounds! So the shop gave me a deal, I paid only $225 for a full set (they look brand new). Pros: The Oversize head doesn't look too big. The sweet spot is large. I am getting 3-5 more yards from every club. They feel soft hitting the ball, I usually say "I can't believe how far I hit the ball, it felt like I just barely swung the club to hit it". They hit the ball long, I have dropped 2-3 strokes from my handicap (down to a 12). Chrome on the heads scratches easily but still looks good. Miss hit still fly pretty straight, just not as long. Cons: At this point there is nothing I dont like about the clubs. Quality: Overall a great looking club. Chrome scratches fast, but I play every weekend. Topline in not to fat, some club heads look huge and heavy when looking down at them on address. Review Summary: Great clubs. Any mid to high handicapper would like hitting this club. They have in a short time saved me strokes. The second round I play one of my weekend playing partners commented "best golf I have seen you play, great second shots up to the greens on the par fours".

Purchase: I acquired the new irons at a local sporting goods store for 449$ Pros: These irons are very forgiving. When i went to buy new irons i wasnt set at ALL on buying king cobra, but i ended up doing it! I hit three different brands including the new taylor made 200 series irons for the same price. After looking at all the features and the way they hit, I bought my irons, since then ive dropped 5-6 strokes off my score. The cluba also have square grooves therefore if the ball is hit correctly, you recieve a fair amount of backspin. I learned this the first time hitting a 6 irons onto the first green of my home course. The ball stopped dead in its own mark, something i have never done before. I now feel i can choose my clubs by the distance that they carry not by how they may bounce and roll. Cons: I havnt found anything yet i dislike about my irons, though i have heard the grips are not too durable. Quality: The irons are very durable, clean looking, and are much more forgiving then they look. Unlike most new forgiving irons, these have a thin topline, the opposite of what callaway does to their irons. The clubs doesnt look very solid, but it sure hits well! Review Summary: Overall these irons are unbeliveale. The name brand may not be the best or most popular, but for the price i dont think you can get more new technology in one iron!
