Purchase: I bought these irons from my local Bass Pro Shop brand new. I paid four hundred and fifty dollars for the set (3-PW) Pros: I love how these clubs are so forgiving. They have a huge sweet spot, and the the perfect grips. The shafts are steel, so I get better controll, but they also come in graphite. Cons: Shaft could be a little bit longer, but that is just because i am a taller player, everything else is just fine. Quality: They start with the King corbra SS-i head, and attached to a precision stiff flex, low kick shaft, and comes with a tour velvet grip with cobra emblem engraved on them. Review Summary: I love these clubs. I swiched from my old low dollar clubs and dropped my scores by 9-10 shots every round. These clubs have built up a huge confidence level knowing that I can hit my shots where I want them.

Purchase: I acquired these clubs in December 2003 as a Christmas present from my wife. I paid $0, but since my money is her money and her money is her money, our bank account was hit for about $550.00. Pros: The Cobra SS-i clubs takes the fear of a fairway filled with water and bunkers and gives you the confidence of Superman starring down the barrel of pellet gun. They are solid clubs that never give you any reason to beleive that your shot will do something unexpected. I also find myself teeing off with my 3 iron more often than my driver. The ball just explodes off of the club face in a controlled manner that I just can't get from a driver. Cons: The Cobras I have now are graphite shafts which took a couple of hours on the driving range to come to grips with. Quality: Perfection is the only way I can describe the quality of these clubs. It is almost like Cobra has a full-time staff of secret Oompa Loompas who do nothing but inspect every club that comes off the production line to make sure it meets their quality standards. Review Summary: I was a little hesitant when I first looked at the Cobra SS-i clubs. They were one of the least expensive clubs offered at the shop and I've always grew up with the understanding that you get what you pay for. And if this was correct, then these clubs wouldn't be as good as some of the bigger names offered on the market. But after 4 months of playing, I don't have any reason to beleave that these clubs won't last me for years to come.
