Purchase: Believe it or not, my brother-in-law got this for me as a Secret Santa Gift last x-mas. He is a single digit handicap, and thought it would round out my bag. He was right. I think he paid about $180 for the club with an Aldilia (I think that's how it's spelled) graphite shaft. The shaft is made for Cobra specifically for this club.
Pros: This club is my "Get Out Of Jail Free Card!" I use it for long terrible lies, or to punch out from the woods if I have a line throgh the trees. I also use it to drive 200 yard par three holes. If you take a fully swing with the club, the regular flex graphite shaft has no problem getting the ball in the air. It's shaft length is about as long as a 2 iron (not that I would ever consider using a 2 iron). So I do not feel like I am setting up too far from the ball (like I might with a fairway wood). The really interesting thing is, the club is about as acurate as a long iron.
Cons: The stock Golf Pride grip is a bit too doughy feeling for may hand. I use a Lamkin Cross Line instead. It would be great if had an alignment mark on the crown like a fairway wood would have. Otherwise,..... It's perfect.
Quality: The construction is typical for Cobra - High Quality! The finishes are simple and professional looking.

Review Summary: This is, without a doubt, my go-to club when I get in trouble and still a good distance out (180 - 200 yards). It could replace any seven wood and should replace most golfers 3 irons as well. I could imagine playing a round without having a hybrid in my bag.
