On 2005-04-29, Jose Roberto Trevino rated this DSR Productions THE CLUB SAVR Club Loss Prevention SYstem a 5...(5455)

Purchase: The CLUB/SAVR we possess was given to us by a Friend and may be acquired at several online stores as well as many GOlf COurse Pro Shops throughout South. THe retail price is listed at $79.00 on the companiy website, www.clubsavr.com
Pros: This little jewel does all it says and claimed to do and proved to be as simple as the directions claimed, "Just plug the Master Unit into the Sensor Tubes and PLAY GOLF!" No other installation was required or any drilling or glueing ect.. Alos, another neat feature of the product was its lack of On/Off switches as the Sensor Tubes perform this function ruling out the inadvertant chance of you either forgetting to turn it on and thus risk losing a club, or killing the batteries by not turning it of, and again losing a club. In fact, the only time the unit is turned on at all is when a CLub is removed from a tube. Last of all we liked the modular approach DSR used on this in that additional Sensor TUbes may be purchased seperately and added onto the System at any time up to a total of 14 and at a cost of only $11.99 each!!
Cons: People Proof, Ingenious, CLips onto the bag, unbelievable user friendly in that it has no user controls other than your time selection. WHATS not to like in less the color Black is not your cup of tea and not to mention it was FREE
Quality: The CLUB/SAVR is a modular and expandable Product that monitors the presence of selected Golf Clubs in a Golf Bag through the utilization of special Golf Club Sensor Tubes and a Master Control Unit. When a Club is removed from a Sensor Tube, a User Selectable Time Interval is initiated, and if the club is not returned to the tube before this time expires, an Audible and or Visual alarm will be activated. The selectable time periods are 6, 10, 14, and 18 minutes. Options that can be purchased separately include additional Standard or Jumbo Sensor Tubes, External Revolving Amber Light that attaches to the Cart for Visual indication, and a Unit for the hearing impaired utilizing a vibrator as opposed to a tone alert. The Basic unit comes with the Control Unit, which has a clip to attach it to your Golf Bag, two Sensor Tubes, a Tube Lock, and a Wiring Harness to connect the tubes to the control unit

Review Summary: I feel most golfers, at least the avid ones who play as often as I do wil readily admit to having lost or left a club on a green. Even if you do not lose it , it is aggravating and inconvenient and holds up the game as you go looking and hoping to retrieve it. For $79.00 you can just go PLAY GOLF! Leaving you with the SLogan on the packaging which is again most appropriate, "Watch your balls and let the CLUBSAVR watch your bag , and with all the aggravation gone it may even cut a few strokes off your game!" My final thoughts BUY ONE NOW OR YOU WILL THE DAY AFTER YOU LOSE YOUR NEXT CLUB just like I did for myself.

Will Michelle Wie now go to the next level? - I can’t say that I’m a huge Michelle Wie fan.
