On 2003-07-10, Aaron Morris rated this Daiwa Ballistic Irons (2002 Model) a 5...(1754)

Purchase: I bought a set of Team Daiwa Ballistic Graphite Golf clubs on a Close out deal from Tee Time Golf in Wayne ,PA. Purchase price: $350 for 1-3-5 Woods, 3-PW All Graphite shaft.(Said Retail was $800 to $1000+, for Irons alone, extra 400+ for Woods) $50 Team Daiwa Bag. (Said Retail was $149) $15 374-03 Putter (Said retail was $150+)
Pros: I own a set of Mizuno MP 30's. These clubs are very very close in comparison to Distance, feel, and accuracy. I can shoot just as well with these clubs as I can with my Mizuno's I love these clubs. Very easy to swing, balance is well maintained, easy to square club head. Game improving clubs. I have owned and played, Ping I3, Titleist 6907CB, Mizuno MP30, Ben Hogan APex Edge Pro, & TMade CB/MB Combo. The Daiwa set play equaly and most of the time better than the few I have named. I have worked to a 3 HCP using all these clubs, I use them, then I sell them. I am keeping my Mizuno's and Daiwa's. the rest are not comparable.
Cons: Not enough publicity but other than that... Nothing.
Quality: Very solid multi flow construction, mishits will travel and do not feel harsh. Feel and perform like forged irons. Daiwa Invented the graphite shaft, they are pure geniuses! I pride myself on ball striking and these make you feel very comfortable in any lie, club design rips right through the sod and keeps you square behind the ball. Scoring irons provide great feel and spin on approach. Long Irons are very well balanceds and make those distance shots easy.

Review Summary: Second only to my Mizuno's these are by far the most under rated Clubs, The price I was given was an ultimate steal for graphite shafts of this caliber. Perfect set for any soon to be "Serious" golfer. Titleist 975LFE Driver fits right in.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
