Purchase: I investigated this putter when Vijay Singh used one to win the Masters. I was intrigued by the reverse offset and reverse face balancing as well as the 90 degree right grip orientation. I was wandering around a Golfsmith store in Schaumburg, Illinois (Chicago) and saw this putter on the used club rack. At first I thought it was left-handed, but then saw it was a 'Dandy'. The price on it was $29.95 so it was obvious Golfsmith didn't know what they had. It was almost new as well. I decided for the price I had to try it, and, to my delight, it scanned $19.95.
Pros: This putter will never leave my bag. The unique set-up takes any wrist out of the picture. Ability to control distance and line is close to remarkable. It does take a little getting used to since the face appears to be aligned slightly closed at address. Once you get over this illusion, the putts start dropping with great frequency.
Cons: Not much not to like. The finish on the head is about the only thing that could be improved. I keep the head cover on it but it is still wearing off. I don't really care though--if the putts keep dropping, I don't care how ugly it gets.
Quality: Except for the finish noted, the Dandy putter is a very high quality club.

Review Summary: If you have any problems putting consistantly, you have to try the Dandy. I've had many putters through the years, but nothing that even comes close to this.
