On 2007-01-13, Ciaran rated this David Leadbetter Golf SwingSetter a 5...(7585)

Details: Includes DVD.

Purchase: I got the SwingSetter for christmas. I saw the advertisement on tv like a hundred times and I was really tempted to get one. From all the reviews, it sounded very good, although the pros sounded like they were reviewing David Leadbetter instead of the SwingSetter.
Pros: I love it! I use it twice a week, just as it advises you to do. The grip is amazing, every time you grip the SwingSetter you know your doing it the right way. The magnetic balls snapping during the swing are very addictive, and they really help you with your tempo. The plastic clubface is great to see the position of the clubface during the swing. The plane pointer sorts out your swing plane, so you are spot on every time.
Cons: There are only two complaints I have about the SwingSetter. First, sometimes your wrists can get a little painful from all the bending. Two, the plastic clubface does not stick to the SwingSetter properly for me, so I have to put half of it on the grip. Apart from these two problems, the SwingSetter is great!
Quality: The SwingSetter is a very wierd looking contraption, and I don't think I would take it to the Driving Range. I might look a bit wierd. But, you will be suprised that something so wierd looking is so helpful to your game.

Review Summary: Overall, the SwingSetter is Great! I have dropped 10 strokes since I started using it, and I am still getting better. You might come across some bad reviews for it, but don't be fooled. These people don't look at the DVD and the instructions properly. If you don't look at the instructions, then it will be useless. But if you do, then you are going to get really good!
