Purchase: For 5 years I wore running shoes when I played. The golf shoes that I had been wearing were heavy and gave me blisters. I thought all golf shoes were uncomfortable nazi torture devices designed to ruin my golfing experience. But when I saw these "GolfMocs" in a golf magazine, I thought they might be different. After shopping around on the internet, I finally went to Edwin Watts Golf store where they were priced at $74.95. I tried them on and immediately found comfort in a golf shoe for the first time. Upon checking out the clerk informed me that they would be going on sale that weekend, and since I was from out of town he would give them to me for $69.95! That was actually cheaper than any internet price.
Pros: These shoes are among the most comfortable of ANY shoe I wear. 18 holes of golf are easy, no "hot foot", and no pain. They are guaranteed waterproof for 1 year, and are easy to clean. The soft spikes are the most agressive design I have seen on any golfing shoe. At first it was hard to believe that a slip-on shoe could be snug enough for golf. I thought I would literally be swinging out of my shoes. After 3 months of wear I'm happy to say they are plenty snug, and I don't feel any slipping while I swing.
Cons: The design of these shoes has been updated in the past month to include more traditional "Oxford" styles. The only style that was available when I bought was a more avant-garde looking shoe. I almost feel like I have on the latest Michael Jordan basketball shoe, (not that bad, mind you, but I catch some flak from my golf buddies). I can't really say I don't like the way they look because every time I wear them, I like them more.
Quality: Excellent build quality. As I said before, they are easy to clean, and they are guaranteed waterproof for 1 year. The spikes have a neat quarter turn lock feature. They have never come loose!

Review Summary: I rarely have seen products that I believe were "Great", but these shoes are. If you have sensitive feet and love golf, I would highly recommend putting these shoes on before you try on those high dollar hype machines you think are necessary.
