Purchase: I have been playing golf for several years and have tried many different golf balls. I heard about the length of low compression balls and with my swing speed slower than my friends and decided to give it a try. I purchased the loco balls at Academy for fifteen dollars and change. I wanted to try low compression balls but didn't want to spent to much money, so Loco was my choice.
Pros: I have certainly noticed an improvement in the distance in my driving and irons. I have increased my driving distance by 10-15 yards. I am really impressed with my accuracy. It seems to have taken out my small fade from my irons and straighten them out.
Cons: The golf balls seem to have trouble spinning coming out of sand or chipping. I have to play for a roll, and each course is different which makes it tough
Quality: The golf balls seem to be well made and I seldom have problems, except when they hit trees. I guess all balls would have that problem

Review Summary: I would recommend this golf ball to all golfers who don't have a 100m.p.h+ golf swing and wants consistency and distance.

Purchase: Purchased at golf equipment supplier-- Purchased 30 balls for less than 30 "others" would cost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: These fly--stick--roll--better than most"higer"priced ones!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: Nothing not to like about these------------
Quality: Top quality--good value--great playability!!

Review Summary: If your losing some distance because of losing your swing speed or just want to try something new---give these a try---you'll be really impressed and save some $$$$$$$$$

Purchase: Paid $17.95 at the local Wal-Mart. Was looking to get an entry level ball to review on the site - something that most average handicap folks could relate to - without spending a fistful of cash.
Pros: I like the fact that the ball is very sturdy, has a tough cover and has provided a noticeable increase in distance off well hit drives. Not sure exactly, but I'm guessing I'm getting 10 to 15 yards additional off the tee.
Cons: This ball is a little rough around the greens. Chip shots seem to bounce quite a bit and the ball rockets off my Ping Zing putter quite a bit. If you can learn to play with it, you'll most likely learn to appreciate the additional yardage on your drives, though.
Quality: 2 piece construction. Pretty durable cover. Played 2 18 hole rounds with the same ball (which is an accomplishment any time there's water around) and only a few scuffs.

Review Summary: I have to recommend this ball. I've seen some bad reviews, but for someone with a mid to high handicap, you'll probably appreciate the extra distance even if you're not the player with the most finesse around the greens. I've played everything from Pro V1's to Pinnacle Golds and I think this ball hits the value to performance point - right smack in the middle.
