Details: Dunlop Goliath 450cc 10 degree driver

Purchase: I saw the Goliath at Wal Mart. They have a number of discount drivers available. I looked at a number of other drivers, but the kept going back to the Goliath. I read many Golf Gear Reviews on the Goliath, and found that most of those reviews were very positive. And a number of reviews were from players in my age range, and swing speed. I decided that at $40, I couldn't go wrong.
Pros: Though I haven't played any rounds with the driver yet, only practice, the first thing I noticed was how straight my shots were. The first dozen balls I hit were on the target line. The temps outside were under 50 degrees. Even so, the ball seemed to travel further. With much better roll than I've ever experienced. The sound of the club didn't have a loud ping, but rather an impressive THWACK! The Aldila mid-firm shaft, for 85-100 mph swings fits me perfectly. The blue domainated shaft, club and head cover are attractive too. An all around great investment.
Cons: No complaints at this time.
Quality: The club, seems to be of good quality. The Winn grip and Aldila shaft look to be of very good quality as well. Only time will tell how well it holds up. I play 2-3 rounds per week. If this driver stays healthy for as many years, my investment will have been well worth it. Heck, for $40, one summer's worth of use makes it a good investment.

Review Summary: For the recreational player, you can't go wrong with this club. We players who are getting up in years, with slower swing speeds should get those extra yards off the tee that will allow us to start putting for birdies on the par 4 and par 5 holes. And we'll shorten the course even more with the Goliath's accuracy. Your second and third shots will be coming from the fairway instead of the rough.

Purchase: I paid forty dollars for it at a local wal-mart.
Pros: It's big and it sounds really good at impact. It has a blue winn grip and an aldilla shaft. The head cover is really easy to get on and off.
Cons: It has 10* of loft which is too much for me but I guess that's my fault.
Quality: After five rounds it is holding up well.

Review Summary: I own a Ping TiSi and a Clevland Launcher 460 and both of them stay in the garage when I go the golf course. The Dunlop is just a better club.

Purchase: Purchased at WalMart $39.95 with Headcover
Pros: This club is awesome to hit. Swing easy and the ball went long and straight. It actually helps me keep the ball down the fairway & on the line I want. I replaced a $300 Cobra 427SS driver with this cheap $40 club. Glad I sold the Cobra. I am actually looking at purchasing another club and may put the Harrison Striper Shaft on it. This is the best priced club on the market. I am a 9 handicap and recommend this club to everyone with any handicap.
Cons: There isn't anything I dislike.
Quality: Quality is well what can one say for $40. It's great.

Review Summary: Anyone who needs the extra distance and accuracy off the tee for a fraction of the cost of a top priced driver, this is the club to try.

Purchase: I paid $40.00 at Big 5 sports store.
Pros: I bought it because it had a full graphite shaft from Adila, large sweet spot that was very efficient. The swing feel was decent. The shaft flex/feel was actually kinda decent for a $40.00 driver.
Cons: The shaft was a tad long, I'm 5'6", but I got use to it. I did get a bit more head speed from the length compared to my last driver. The driver head started to dimple on the bottom and crack along the whole length of bottom parralel to the face bottom edge. I ownly had it for 3 months. I don't hit the ground, but I did take it out to the driving range quite a bit, and did used it when I was going out golfing about 2-3 days a week for three months straight. Big 5 sporting goods store took it back without a problem and got credit toward a full titaniim head driver.
Quality: The Adila shaft was nice actually, being an inexpensive driver. The head was aluminum, with titanium sprinkles to be able to call it Titanium Alloy, which realy means Aluminum hyped up for comercial bragging rights of titanium in the name. The sweet spot was fairly good. But boy does it make a "Tink" sound when you hit it sqare and hard. I kept getting looks from people near by on the driving range when I hit a solid one. Even if the ball only went 200yards at times.

Review Summary: Liked it while I had it. I think the warrenty return at Big 5 sporting goods was the best part though. I had lost my reciept (found it later) and the manager still took it back. I had printed out a copy of my check, and even though it didn't show the item on it that was purchased, it did show the exact price of the driver after tax. Still using the titanium driver after 5 months without any visual breaking issues.

Purchase: Bought my Goliath 450cc driver at a Wal Mart for about $38. I was looking for a good, oversized driver at a moderate price.
Pros: It sets up nice at address and feels good to swing. The 10 degree loft seems to work well for me.
Cons: Nothing so far.
Quality: The dirver seems to be well made, witha 100% graphite shaft and a Winn grip.

Review Summary: A good looking driver under $40 that is made in the USA and performs well.
