On 2004-02-22, Harry rated this Dunlop Tad Moore Utility 16* and 19* a 5...(2908)

Purchase: Bought 19* Tad Moore utility in local pro shop for Euro 89/$ 80 as a replacement of my very cheap 5 wood. Had to find something that would give me acceptable distance from the fairway and semirough alike, and this club just does that. !
Pros: with a rounded sole, extra weighting and a very shallow face it skids through short and longer grass alike. Compared with taylor made rescue or other rescues it feels a lot heavier, with a steel shaft, but with an easy swing it goes around 150 m/175 y flight. From the tee it works well also, but you have to tee the ball very low to prevent ballooning. Bought the 16* some months later. Works exellent from tee and fairway, less ballooning. Distance about 15% extra and very consistent.
Cons: Quality of the clubs is good, but not excellent. the 19* seems to get rusty very fast, but just at the surface.
Quality: Stainless steel head, rounded sole, shallow faced with extra weighting in the back. Steel shafted, regular true temper, flighted shaft. Quality fine, just pay attention to the tendency to get rusty

Review Summary: Very good match with the TM high cor driver. . Thank you mister Moore and Dunlop! Over all i'm very pleased with the clubs and at this price its the very best you can get.
