On 2002-12-19, CDW (11-handicap = bad putter) rated this Dynacraft 1030B a 5...(874)

Purchase: I ordered these heads on-line from Dynacraft for $136 ($17/head). You can also have a set made to your personal specs (based on a fitting) at any clubmaker shop.
Pros: These irons are a beautiful chromed muscle-back design made of soft 1030 carbon steel. I was looking for a traditional clubhead with a solid, communicative feel and a little forgiveness. Shots feel really sweet with these clubs, used on both Dynamic Gold S300 or Rifle FCM 6.0 steel shafts. You immediately know where you contacted the ball on the face and how well you struck the shot.
Cons: BEcause they're made of a softer metal (rather than stainless steel), they pick up bag nicks like forged irons do (and like Pings and Callaways don't). It's a small trade-off for the vastly better feel.
Quality: Quality is first-rate. Dynacraft produces very consistent heads, in terms of finish, appearance, and quality control (like weight, loft, lie specs).

Review Summary: I'd recommend these irons to anyone looking to feel the ball again.
