On 2005-02-19, MiamiDude rated this Feel Dart Thrower Gunmetal a 1...(5053)

Purchase: Bought the 52,56 and 60 degree wedges on Ebay directly from Feel Golf based on reviews I had read. Paid $100 for the set, a great deal I thought.
Pros: The clubs have a great appearance in the gunmetal finish.
Cons: These wedges have received a level of hype on several golf review sites. I have played Cleveland 588 wedges for years, and I can assure you that the Feel Golf wedges aren't even in the same ball park. These wedges all have the same basic bounce, which doesn't add a thing. The wedges are touted as being the same length and weight, again a huge mistake in my opinion. The are thinner than Clevelands or the RAC's and feel like cheap tin when hit. Using the 52* on approach shots yielded scattered shots and no feel, amazing for clubs that carry the "feel" moniker.
Quality: The basic fit and finish was good. The problem is with the engineering. Too thin, no choice in bounce, cheap materials for the head. Almost any name brand wedge I have hit felt more solid and produced much better results.

Review Summary: Save your money, buy name brand. The Cleveland 588, the Taylormade RAC, and the Titleist Vokey are all much more club for the money. Feel Wedges are junk, I sold the set after one round. I am confident that better wedges are available in the same price range.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
