Purchase: I purchased the lead tape from Nevada Bobs late in the summer of 2006. I figured it was worth a shot, and it was.
Pros: It took probably 30 swings to really feel the difference, and how I needed to adjust my swing. The results have been incredible. I now average somewhere over 260 yards off the tee.
Cons: It is really more of a temporary fix, though I'm not about to take it off!
Quality: Seems very good, no signs of degrading at all.

Review Summary: I was about to sell my driver, or get a custom steel shaft unit built. I placed four 1' strips on the sole, in the rear of my Cobra 400SZ. The steadying effect, along with the very hot Cobra face have produced better results than I could have asked for. I average at least 20 yards more than before the lead tape, and I've had many 280 yard drives, as well as my very first 300 yarder. If it's good enough for a pro like Jim Thorpe, it's good enough for me.
