On 2004-11-30, Physics rated this FootJoy Dual Climate Jacket Model 34040 a 5...(4809)

Purchase: This jacket was purchased at the pro shop of a golf resort in my home town. The jacket was purchased at a cost of $85. It was a cold windy day at the resort so I decided to give the jacket a try.
Pros: The jacket has mnany nice features. Definitely made for golf in cool and/or windy weather and is not bulky or binding. Does not interfere with your golf swing. If the weather does warm up the jacket has zip-off sleeves so that they can be easily removed. The sleeves also are articulated which allows for easy swinging of the golf club if left attached to the jacket. The jacket has a full front zipper that provides full protection or can be partially left open for air circulation. The jacket itself is large enough so as not to interfere with your swing. The bottom of the jacket and the sleeve cuffs have elastic bands which helps to keep wind out and not interfere with your swing. The jacket's collar is a split crew collar and does not rub on your neck. The jacket is made out of a fleece material and the sleeves are microfiber.
Cons: Nothing I really do not like about the jacket. The fleece material does not seem like it will stand up to rain.
Quality: The jacket is very well designed and constructed for golf. Footjoy has a good reputation for quality and this jacket exhibits this reputation.

Review Summary: A great jacket for keeping you warm in windy cool weather with minimal clothing that does not interfere with your swing.
