Purchase: I was in the pro shop and saw the sandals for sale. I needed new shoes for the summer season and why not sandals. I purchased them for $45.00
Pros: They are comfortable to wear, they want rub on my heel as I walk, they are easy to take off and on, and they give good traction. They are very comfortable and light.
Cons: Encourager to stay away from sand traps. They are not waterproof but you can always take your socks off.
Quality: They are contstructed very well with several velco straps that will let you adjust the sandal so they become slip ons. They do not come untied either. Review Summary: Recommend the sandals to anyone for except for winter play.

Purchase: The first time I saw an add for a golf sandal I knew I'd end up Owning a pair. I pretty much live in my Teva Sandals otherwise. It wasn't until recently that more manufacturers have began making them and they became easily availible. I had yet to find them in a store so that I could try them on until this year. Purchased them at Golfers Warehouse for $64.95
Pros: I tried the Bite sandals and the Nike sandals and found the Footjoy's to be the most comfortable of the three. No surprise though since I have owned two other footjoy golf shoes and both are extremely comfortable. They provide ample support and don't slip around. It's also one of the cooler rounds you'll ever play! I haven't played with them when it's been raining as I suspect they'g get slick. Not to mention my Footjoy shoes are watertight as a drum!
Cons: About the only down side I can think of is that they add a new dimension to getting in and out of a sand trap! Takes a bit of foot shaking and a hole or so before things are back to normal.
Quality: I've been nothign but pleased. One note would be that out of the three these are the only ones what were not a leather upper. It's a man made material, but the leather or manmade material does not touch your skin in either case since they depend on a "wet suit" type liner to keep your foot from moving around in each case. The leather also makes the others heavier than my footjoys. The quality has been great to date although it's only been half a season. Review Summary: I'd buy them again in a minute! Sure I get a couple snide comments, but what's the point in being like everyone else! I'm cooler and more comfortable than they are in the end.
