Purchase: Bought my first pair of golf shoes, these FJ eComfort's, at Golf Warehouse in Hartford, CT, for $45(on sale!).
Pros: Hold a pair in your hands and you'll see that this shoe is very light. Try a pair on and you'll feel how soft they are on the feet - like walking on air. Bring this shoe to the cash register and you'll feel better about not parting with over $100 for golf shoes. The design isn't exactly fashion-forward, but I wanted comfort out of my golf shoe. Also, I have a fairly wide foot, and my feet do not feel strangled in these.
Cons: I honestly cannot say anything negative about this shoe. I just hope FootJoy does not discontinue it someday.
Quality: I've played in my first pair about 50 times. The only thing worn on the shoe are the cleats (FastTwist Black Widows). With proper care, these shoes could last many seasons. I've also played with them in rain and have stepped in mud - they stand up to their waterproof claim. The shoe also comes with heel plugs that you put under the liner for a "Firm" feel or a "Soft" feel. All this in a sub$100 shoe?

Review Summary: I can't say enough about these shoes. Waterproof, durable, and, most of all, comfortable enough to walk 18.
