Details: 9 degree with Penley GAS shaft stiff flex
Purchase: I purchased this head on sale from pro series golf. I do not remember where I purchased the GAS shaft (I had it for a few months waiting for something to come along). I built this driver to 46 inches with a Winn grip. It turned out to be very pleasing to look at, not as tacky as most of the oem's on the market today. Pros: Well the main thing I like about this driver is its 'IN YOUR FACE' performance. I have been to all of the demo days and I have hit all of the oems out there. Nothing comes close to the performance and the feel. I love playing in the dogfights with the 'name brand guys' and smoking them down the center of the fairway. I love when they ask to hit it and it waves by by as it carries past their R7, Sumo or FT-5 to name a few. The only thing close is a few other long driver heads. I love this thing and the fact that no one else at my club hits one. Cons: The only thing I don't like is that Steve Almo hasn't gave us matching fairway woods yet like he did with the Bang-O-Matic. If there is away for him to top those fairway wood heads I wood buy a complete set! Quality: Top notch quality, paint and and finish. I checked the angle on a cmm and it was off by 3 min. of one degree. Review Summary: With companies out there like Geek, Bang ang Alpha why would anyone who knows anything about golf ever buy an OEM. Get one and try it, you'll never buy a Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway or Nike driver ever again!

Details: 10.5 degree, .335 hosel@ 1.5' deep, 460cc, dark (almost black) burgandy metallic, magnetic flap headcover included.
Purchase: I was looking for a large loud driver in 10 degree that was inexpesive and longer than my old Taylor Made. Bought the head for 150 US online and installed a True Temper Ei-70II shaft in R flex. The clubhead was designed by the guy who used to design for Bang. Pros: This baby is loud and delivers on sweet hits. I played an 8.5 degree TM 300 and could get the ball out in the 250 range, my avg driving distance is now in the 260-70 range but I nutted one on a downhill 366 yard par 4 and ended up 30 yards out. The carry on this driver is great, ball starts out high and just keeps going. It is a 460 but has a very tall face and seems a compact 460 at address. Also, the head has very little offset and looks great at address. Cons: No complaints. The shaft could actually have a higher bendpoint to get the initial ball flight down some and be a bit more boring; but this head is designed for maximum carry. The offer another head that is designed for maximum roll. I do plan on replacing the low bend point TT shaft with a mid/high bend in the future. I feel the TT shaft would be a good combo with a bit less lofted head. Quality: The paint is very high quality, I've sky'ed the ball twice and there is no noticable marking left in the paint. The one thing that I have noticed is the edge of the paint where it meets unpainted areas is somewhat rough on the bottom of the club head but only noticeable if you look up close and could probably be polished or rubbed smooth by the turf during play. I also must admit I wasn't expecting see the little oval 'made in China' sticker on it but that takes noting away from the quality. Review Summary: If you're looking for a loud, long and forgiving driver that no-one else has look no farther. The Fail Safe lives up to its name, you catch the ball anywhere on the face and it's gonna go, hit the sweetspot and its gone. The first time I hit it I said HOLY COW outloud because this sucker is bad; flew higher and longer than my 8.5 TM ever had. I have the confidence to hit this driver on the tightest of tight fairways and can fly over many of the doglegs I usually laid up to. I've only played 3 rounds with this new driver and can say it has a welcome home in my bag. Be sure to purchase from an authorized seller as the clubhead has a lifetime warranty against breakage.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
