Purchase: I traded in an old set of Wilson Pro staff steel shaft irons, and graphite woods, in what I thought was an upgrade when I bought this set. I wound up paying 400.00 after trade at Golf Discount in St. Louis
Pros: I really like the 1,3,5 woods in this set and will keep them for a while. Good feel on the 3 and 5 wood, and great distance on the driver. Golf Gear does drivers quite well.
Cons: I don't like the irons in this set. I never got used to the graphite shafts. they seemed to twist too much, no matter the claims on the website. I really don't like the feel of the ball off these irons, and completely lost confidence in the forgiveness. I found out a little too late that these irons may be better suited for a very low handicap senior player.
Quality: Very good quality and materials, but perimeter weighting layouts are a bit confusing on the irons. Woods in this set are very good quality and much more playable than the irons.

Review Summary: Golf Gear customer service is great if you have an equipment problem, and I will keep the woods, but I am very dissapointed in the irons, and am going to trade them in, and go back to a steel shafted iron set.
