On 2004-02-02, MN_mike rated this Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord Grips a 4...(2720)

Purchase: $5.99 installed at Golf Galaxy in Roseville, MN. I got my Taylor Made 360 reshafted with a UST proforce gold 65 stiff shaft and chose this grip to go along with it.
Pros: Sweet feel with the cords. Enables you to keep a secure grip on the club when it is wet and raining or hot & humid and your hands perspire. Easy to take a damp towel and clean these to get that new tacky feel back.
Cons: Because of the cords, if you do choose to clean these grips with a damp towel or a brush & soapy water, you will need to allow time for them to dry a bit before they are ready to hit again. Next time I think I'll opt for just the regular tour velvets without the cords.
Quality: Very good. Has held up to a lot of use.

Review Summary: Good grips, but go for the regular tour velvets. The cords get in the way of cleaning these otherwise excellent grips.
