Details: Auditor swing weight scale. Also can be used to weigh components.

Purchase: I got this scale for club building. I got this on because it allows me to dry fit a club and adjust swing weight before I epoxy anything together. Can't do this with some other scales. Cost was $120
Pros: Being able to dry fit a club is a great benefit with this scale. I can adjust the swing weight as needed before I epoxy the shaft into the head. Also lets me see what effect a certain grip will have before I install it. Allows me to add lead weight little by little until I get the swing weight I want. Very easy to swing weight a whole set of irons this way. No guess work needed.
Cons: The scale oscillates when you are close to having it balanced. Could use a dampening device to speed up measurements.
Quality: Quality is good, no complaints

Review Summary: Anyone looking to build golf clubs, be it a whole set, or just a few clubs, should have access to a swing weight scale. All your irons and wedges should have the same swing weight, so they all feel the same. I like my irons set at D4 and my woods at D6. A set of clubs built without a scale can vary 3 or 4 points, and that's not going to help your game any. If this scale had a dampening device, I'd give it a 5
