Purchase: Purchased from Golfsmith. Paired with a Fujikura Vista Pro 60 regular flex.
Pros: This combination of head and shaft is one of the best looking clubs possible. (imho). Well after trying so many heads and shafts this set up works like a top for me. This head is forgiving and hits very far. AND the sound is the most pleasing of ANY head I have hit and I have hit most every brand out there. The most important thing for a driver is its distance and this head delivers in spades.
Cons: Seriously I have not found anything to dislike about this head. IF i could I would relay it to all of you out there.
Quality: The finish is outstanding and a plain black head is hard to beat in looks department. I like the way the paint is kept just back from the face on the top. Quality wise it appears to be well above average and even better than almost all of the name brand units out there.

Review Summary: This is a great head and I would recomend to anyone that is shopping to give it a try especailly if you have found "the shaft" for you. As some others have stated, I can not believe that so many people will buy a club strickly due to the name brand without giving this head a try and it costs so much less. For me the cost of a driver is not a factor as I have tried and owned most of them out there and this "component/aftermarket" head is OUTSTANDING.

Purchase: I was searching for a new driver last Christmas and started demo-ing in the Golfsmith simulator a Ping Si3 with a stiff, oem shaft (i have been told that the oem shaft in this club is the Addilla NV by reps at Golf Discount). I really liked this club and had decided that i would buy it in a week or two when all of a sudden i noticed this new 600T with a stiff shaft. I liked the way it looked as it was similar in shape and looks to the Ping so i gave it some hits in the simulator. I was amazed because it was consistently 10-12yrds longer and just as straight with the same soft feel and clean sound that i liked in the Ping Si3! So after some research i bought the head along with a Rifle Flighted Stiff Graphite shaft and Winn Grip (my favorite) and with the free club assembly class they gave me for buying the 600T at the time i put my first club together. The Rifle Flighted has a low torque rating so that it is very stiff (i think it's around 3.4) and i cut about 1/2" off of the butt end to lighten the swing weight to keep it swinging easy later in my rounds when i am tired and sore. I bought the 11 degree lofted 600T to get a higher trajectory and was told that it also puts less side spin on the ball. Winn Grips in my opinion are the best, they soften the shot and keep their tackiness long after my Golf Prides became slicks, add to this their higher initial tack and they really perform for me. I have read and been told that they don't work well in the rain but i normally will pass on a round if it's more than a drizzle and in those conditions i have found them to be great as well.
Pros: I picked the 11 deg. 600T head not just for the higher trajectory but to also take some side spin off since at the time i was using the Srixon Hi-Brid Tour wound ball and it worked perfectly. Well almost... my 30yrd slice became a 15yrd fade with this ball and since then i have switched to the Ben Hogan Hawk and it has cut this fade in half while retaining almost all of the soft feel. In studying the spec's of the 600T before i bought it i found that it was made with a special DAT alloy and forging process at 600 degrees Celcius that aids in its lower spin rate and added forgiveness which increases accuracy and distance(which adding in the lower side spin from a higher lofted head equaled a big plus to me). It is a 380-389cc head if i remember correctly. [BTW, the 600T has around 2800-3000rpm spin rates according to Golfsmith and i have read that anywhere from 2400-2800rpm is suppose to be ideal for the longest drives.] The 600T also loses less distance than any driver i have had or used on off center hits while still staying accurate. High, low, toe or heel shots stay on line and within 15-20 yards of normal distance. The sweet spot for everything (including feel) is definately in the center but you lose no distance on center-high hits i have found and you actually get a higher trajectory. Center-heel strikes feel good but lose about 15yrds and center-toe strikes don't feel as good but lose only about 10yrds. Very fogiving! The combination of a lower spin rate from the head along with a higher loft and a lower spinning ball (than what i was using) all came together thus showing that combinations of the three can really help. With the 600T and the Hogan Hawk i hit between 60-75+% of the fairways and with our soft fairways here in the Chicagoland area this summer i have averaged 250yrds (with the occasional 265-270yrd for good measure) with about 10-15yrds of that being roll. I think harder fairways or non-elevated fairways like i have been playing on would yeild more yardage and i would love to play more down hill fairways. In my short 6yrs of playing i have NEVER had a driver (regardless of the ball i used) that i could do the above with and it has completely changed my game! Sorry, but the axiom of putting for dough and driving for show doesn't tell the whole story. I have found that you drive for dough, hit second and third shots for dough, and chip and putt for dough, it's all important. Now because i hit so many fairways or am around the fairway i can actually hit GIR's or be close and this has put me in a consistent position this year of legitimately shooting in the high 80's (the chipping and putting are getting better but still need practice, LOL!). I simply can't justify buying a more expensive driver, heck i'm not even looking anymore since i got this 600T.
Cons: Nothing! It looks great, performs Awesome and my total cost (Head, shaft, grip)with the free club making class to put it together was $127!!!
Quality: Construction, looks and quality are top shelf. The club is very solid but with a soft feel similar to my MP29's and the best sound other than the Ping Si3 that i have heard. Consistency of performance is Awesome! This club has made golf fun.

Review Summary: The best driver i have ever used or owned (that includes TM 320, Hippo Giant Plus, Callawy C4, Tri-metal, TM R5, Callaway Steelhead Plus and Callaway Hawkeye). Nothing has been longer (although the Hippo and R5 are close)and nothing came close to the consistency of accuracy and ball flight to this Snake Eyes 600T.
