Purchase: I tried this Driver at my Ping Pro shop at a driving range in Singapore. I usually use a Talor Made R360 with a Stiff Aldila 65 nv shaft. The BEAT driver was at least 40 metres (50 yards) longer than the TM. I was thunderstruck as I had tired the Ping G2, TM R7, TM R580XD and was unimpressed. The guy at the shop told me the driver was at least 3-4 years ahead of anything else on the market. But at S$900 (US$530) it was too steep for me. I ended up gazing lovingly at the Grand Golf internet site www.grandgolf.com for a month until by chance .... a month after seeing the driver I found it at a 2nd hand store on sale at S$500 (US$300) and bought it as soon as I saw it.
Pros: The Driver uses a Stiff Superlight (300gm) Fujikura shaft and has these plates at the top and bottom of the head which means its has an enormouse COR over 0.86 and a 460ml head. When you hit the ball it gives off a sound like breaking glass ... unlike the quiet klunk of my TM. What I like most about this driver is that I don't have to put too much effort into getting very straight and very long distances.
Cons: Price. But I guess you get what you pay for.
Quality: Best looking driver I have ever seen. The face and bottom are a chrome finish.

Review Summary: I played my first round of Golf with this driver 2 weeks ago on a short 18 hole course. Because I could contain my desire to smack the ball for distance I shot 9 below my lowerst ever score. I love this Driver!!!!!
