Details: 34' Length

Purchase: Purchase: Pro shop Price: $170 Why: Wanted better feel and alignment Beginning in golf is overwhelming and as simple as putting is, it can be the most challenging and intimidating aspect of the game. I had a mallet putter but had a difficult time with feel for distance despite its balance and weight (Nike T-130). I wanted to use something that was heel weighted for my type of swing as outlined by Stan Utley.
Pros: Pros: Adjustable lie Adjustable weights Feel and sound Distance control Alignment DVD video Set up is easy with the notch just above the alignment line that gives me consistency. The two bars act like a railroad to the hole. I like the feel of the contact when it hits the ball. The color and design is unique, odd but not distracting. This club really gives confidence when hitting. Given the adjustable weights, I find the middle sized weights to be best for my pace. The weights are easy to adjust and come in a small pouch with an Allen wrench. The lie can be adjusted for your set up. The standard 71* lie angle is perfect for me. The video is useful but not essential. I find the versatility to be extremely helpful as I progress in this game. This is being touted as having the 'truest roll' given the construction of the putter face. I have noticed that the ball bounces up very little compared to my old putter.
Cons: The price is a bit high despite my discount. But given that other putters can cost for much more, it is in the middle tier of pricing. I have seen people buy this for less money. Given that I feel a lot more confident, it is well worth the money.
Quality: Construction is solid. The grip is comfortable. The club head is solid in feel and has a good balance. I love the putter cover which is durable and protects the putter head.

Review Summary: One of the most versatile putters available on the market allowing the lie angle and weight of the club to be adjusted. I consider this to be a 'hybrid' of a mallet and blade given its unusual configuration of a blade body with projecting weight ports that help for alignment. For a beginner or novice golfer, this club is definitely worthy of consideration given the alignment aspect and versatility.
