Details: Standard setup, 35'
Purchase: $179 from my local pro shop Pros: So I demo'd this putter one day, mainly because of it's unique look and design. The ball moves off the face so this must be a high MOI putter. Impact is soft and pretty easy to tell I hit it off center. Cons: So the design is a little distracting but nothing you wont get used to. The big issue for me was alignment. I was constantly pulling putts with the 2Bar. I was actually having to try and open the club face to try and get the ball to go where I thought it was supposed to go. So to me, this face was too closed. Maybe it was a bad build but I missed almost everything long and left. Quality: Seemed to be well built and felt solid, not cheap. Review Summary: Overall, there are some positives to this putter but to me, the constant long and left was too much work to try and correct.

Purchase: I've been pretty loyal to my equipment but after 3 putting more than not this past season went to Golfsmith to 'buy some magic'! I've been putting a Ping Craz-E for 3 years and Odyssey Rossi before that.Figured I'd go back to Odyssey 2-ball or 3-ball or another Ping.
Putted for over an hour in the store...
$179.00...high but I bit the bullet! Pros: Frankly I had not heard of 'Rife' Putters and did not know there had been an infomercial. It just looked kind of like what I had in mind. I putted everything in the store, got down to 3 putters for a half hour and while I wanted to get the bigger 'name' putter, I simply kept coming back to that Rife 2-bar. 5 rounds later it may have been my best equipment buy in years. The guys that borrow it also love it and one went out and bought one that day.
The balance is amazing. The pitch is the 'forward roll grooves'. I thought 'sure, whatever' but wow, it works. I don't know about the different weights and all. The standard (medium) weight set up was perfect for me. Definately cut off at least 6 strokes for my game. Deadly 4' in which used to be tough. I lag so much better know too. Love it. Cons: Pricy Quality: I'm a Ping guy and this putter equals Ping in quality and feel. Very very pleased. Review Summary: I can put my putting whoas behind me for awhile and go look to buy that 'magic' chipper! On 2007-06-03, Tim rated this Guerin Rife 2 Bar Mallet a 5...(7785)

Purchase: I bought this putter online after a friend who uses one let me try it on the putting green. After a few minutes, I knew I had to have it. Pros: This putter has a top quality finish. It comes wih a weight kit so you can adjust the weight to your preference for the greens you are playing. The putter also has excellent alignment markings and the grooves on the face seem to get the ball rolling faster and straiter.
I have been using a odyssey 2 ball for the last 3 years and this putter blows that away. Cons: Nothng Quality: Excellent constuction, finish and look. Review Summary: Excellent putter, ball tracks better than any putter I have ever used. I am giving my current 2 ball putter to my son.
If you buy one you may win back some money you've lost on those missed short ones.
