Purchase: This is a follow up review. $60.00 is what was paid for this club, half off for Fathers Day.
Pros: Like I said in the other review, this club is a MONSTER! Feels good, looks good, etc... Only now I went out and hit the club at the range. This club smashes the ball! I was hitting range balls over 250 yards with little effort, for me, that's awesome. The ball flight was nice and working the ball was pretty easy. Even on off-center hits the ball still carried a ton and stayed pretty online most of the time. Oh, and it's LOUD!!
Cons: Also like I said, there isn't much NOT to like. I will be replacing the Tour Soft grip but I'm not in any rush.
Quality: Like I thought, for $60.00 I got a whole bunch of club. It feels solid in hand, practice swings and upon impact. The classic black with some touches of red look really cool, and I was right in thinking that the shaft would be perfect for my around 90 mph swing speed. Review Summary: This would make a great purchase for the weekend golfer or even the more serious golfer in the market for a new driver who doesn't want to spend a lot of money. I believe it will out drive most of the "name brand" drivers that are used by others in my group. I'm sure they'll be asking to try it once they see and hear this beast of a club. I like it a whole lot more than my Hippo Daly Matrix 360 cc driver I was using that met an untimely "death".

Purchase: I just got the Hippo XD3 for Fathers Day and I know that my Wife paid $60.00 for it cause she found it half off Fathers Day sale thingy.
Pros: This is my second review. My first was on the Daly 360cc Matrix which a weird thing happened that caused the new purchase. I got this strange "dent" on the bottom of the club when it was in the trunk of my car, causing bowing to the face. Nothing else was in the trunk other than my golf shoes, hmmm? Couldn't keep anything in play with it any longer. This XD3 460 is a MONSTER! Looks good, feels even better. The guy next door to me checked it out the day I got it and he really liked it as well. Other than that, I don't know - haven't hit it, yet. But if it's anything like my old 360 Matrix, there should be some fun round of golf in my near future.
Cons: There isn't much to not like. The grip will more than likely be replaced only because I've grown to love and use Winn grips on all of my clubs except my putter.

Review Summary: I've used Hippo in the past and, at first, gotten laughed at. But when I started out driving the others in my group PLUS hitting more fairways, I was the one laughing. My Brother, who is a big Cleveland guy, actually took and used my Matrix last year in a high dollar outing because "he had zero confidence with his Launcher."
