Purchase: I wanted the best and Honma is it. I paid $800.00 at Rowland Golf Center in Rowland Hts.
Pros: Extremely forgiving and powerful. 460cc head provides the maximum in hitting area. Swing weight is D-1 which is extremely light; Taylor Made R7, Big Berthas, etc. are all D2-D3 and above, which is way too heavy for myself and most recreational golfers.
Cons: Nothing.
Quality: Again, shaft technology is at the forefront of this club. ARMRQ is the main attraction here. Braided titanium is constructed like bamboo fibers. Go to Honma Golf.com for more info.

Review Summary: If your willing to drop some mad cash on a driver, go with Honma. There are several models available. I can routinely hit my drives 270 yds +, which is about twenty some yards more than before. The sweet spot is ridiculously large and shots hit there make impact sound like a gun shot! I practically need ear muffs. I also bought a 3 wood MG 460 and a Dual Attack 19 deg hybrid wood in addition to my Honma MG 818 irons. This all cost me about six large, but it's worth every dime. The only thing in my bag that's not Honma is my putter, which is Odyssey, because as we all know, putting can't really be bought.
