Purchase: eBay auction, paid $285
Pros: I've owned 8 drivers in the 5 years I've been playing golf and this is by far the longest, straightest, easiest driver I have ever owned. The dual kick points are perfect, spine alignment and balance are true and the weight feels sooooo nice. The ball just flies off the face, even on miss hits. The shaft I have has a R-flex and works well with my 105mph swing speed. Anyone higher than that should consider the S-flex. You will love this club!
Cons: 355 cc head size is a bit small, could be 45cc larger, but still gives you confidence at set up. You might not be able to get factory repair due to the fact that these Honmas are made in Japan.
Quality: This was a used club and the only thing it needed was a new grip. I called the Honma rep. in N.Carolina and he has not yet put me in touch with a dealer who can replace the grip with a Honma brand.
