Purchase: Academy 24.95
Pros: absolutely nothing, I sold a titleist 975 d that i had trouble keeping in the fairway on occasion and could not hit this club 250 yards when i was averaging over 280-315 consistently with the titleist
Cons:
Quality: shaft was crappy cheap aldila paint job was shady

Review Summary: i got my moneys worth i should have known the hype of this poorly made driver was too good to be true

Purchase: I looked at Golfsmith, etc. for a 450+ cc size driver and the cheapest head was $ 100+! I found this club at a Sports Authority and bought it for ~ $ 40.00 (1/10 the cost of the $ 400 big name drivers). It's great! It hits the ball solidly and I've yet to hit a really bad shot with it. PS I only have gone to the driving range one time. I would highly recommend it instead of th $ 400 clubs.
Pros:
Cons: cheeze grip which I replaced with a WINN grip
Quality: very pretty and I like the small center spot dot!

Purchase: I borrowed this club from a friend for a few holes. Hit it anywhere on the face and you have a good shot. Bought one at Walmart for 49.95 CDN.
Pros: Wow! After just two weeks this club has paid for itself many times over. Hits straight and long. Changed my game completely. I can't imagine any further improvement in my driving ability from a club costing 10 times as much.
Cons: Nothing to dislike. If you want an excellent driver for little cost. This is it!!!
Quality: Looks good, feels good. Very little wear and tear visible so far.

Purchase: I purchased this Driver from a local Superstore. You know, (like a Walmart) they carry a little of everything. I had just been to Golf Seminar put on by Cadillac. During the seminar on Driving, we got a lesson from Michelle McGann (LPGA). She was using an oversized TaylorMade club and she explained that with clubs this big, you only need to use 80% power to hit effectively. With that said, I was on a mission to buy an oversized Driver. I couldn't afford an expensive driver, I just purchased a new set of Wilson Deep Red Fat Shaft Irons. So when I saw this Driver at Meijer for $39.95 I bought it.
Pros: It has a great feel. The sound it makes on impact is that TING sound that makes everyone's head turn and look and say "WOW that sounded good." Then when they see the size of the head they all gather around and say "whoa, that thing is huge." You don't get a lot of spin on the ball, which is nice because then you don't get Slice or Hook problems, just straight shots. Remember you only need to use 80% power when using an oversized Driver like this. (Unless you are Tiger Woods or going for the Long Ball Driving Championship.) It has a Graphite Aldila shaft. The head is a Dark Red (Like the Wilson Deep Red Driver).
Cons: There is really nothing I don't like. The Grip does look a little on the cheap side, but it is sticky and you can always replace grips.
Quality: The contstruction seems to be very durable. I have used this club for one season and it has held up so far. The one thing that I have realized in clubs is that knock offs are many times just as good as the name brands, the only difference in many cases is the name and the R&D. When you purchase a name brand club you are paying for the research and design behind the making of that club. When you purchase a knock off, off brand, custom club you are paying for the materials. A good way to see how much the price is inflated on a name brand driver is to price out a custom club at your local Golf Store. Golf Smith offers heads (nice ones) for around $80.00 and your choice of shaft and grip will run another $20 or so. $100 in materials vs. $499 for the Taylor Made. Hmm.

Review Summary: Sure, I would love to own a Taylor Made, r7 Quad or RAC, or ERC, but I can't justify the cost when I don't golf for a living or for money so the Intech AXT 450 will do. Anyway, even if the club falls apart, it will only cost $40.00 for a new one.

Purchase: I picked up this driver at a Sports Authority sale. The original price was $80 and the club was on sale for $40.
Pros: I was looking for an oversized titanium head club with a decent shaft. In comparing the name brand clubs, I could not find any that were priced at anywhere close to what I was prepared to pay as an 18 handicapper. This club has very nice features. It is a deep red color, it has a HUGE face, and the shaft is an Aldila distance. The club hits very easily. It won't fix a bad swing, but a slower swing that is well struck will carry well over 200 yards in the air.
Cons: The grip is a bit on the cheap side. I doubt it will work well when wet, but it is very sticky when dry.
Quality: The quality looks to be good. The club has only been used for a few rounds and shows no signs of paint chips. The shaft has a great kick point and works well when swung in control and on line.

Review Summary: This club for me works as well as any marquee brand club for a tiny fraction of the cost. I'm very pleased with the purchase.
