On 2003-03-31, C doran rated this Integra 400 cc Offset Driver a 5...(1058)

Purchase: I had purchased one of these for my grandfather last summer in hopes of giving him more distance. The offset really helped him coupled with a senior flex ust shaft, at 87 years old he consistently hits it over 200 yards! I had to try it myself.I figured with my headspeed and the trampoline face I would kill it. I went back to diamondtourgolf.com (the best guys out there) and got the 10.5 offset with a stiff true temper tx 90 steel shaft and a winn grip all for an amazing 72.00, and believe me I kill this thing.
Pros: I love everything about it! Having used a Ping blonde persimmon wood up to this point I had never really realized what distance I could get from a titanium driver. Dont get me wrong for being as old as it is I hit the ping a good 250 down the fairway, and thought with this much bigger head I would lose my timing and accuracy etc. Not to be! with the offset I can really go after it and being as I picked a steel shaft the accuracy never left. I am now consistently around the 290 sometimes 300 yd mark.
Cons: There are only 2 small things that might deter someone from buying this driver. 1) is the sound it makes at contact very different that what I have always heard with wooden drivers or even other titanium ones such as callaways etc, not bad just different sound all together. 2nd) is how loud this thing can get. I have a very fast swing upwards of 115+ and this face cracks the ball! Sometimes even hurts my ears a little. Like I said those would be the only things I can think of.
Quality: Construction is great, as stated earlier diamondtourgolf.com is the best, they really take of you with good prices. I have only had mine for about 2 weeks but everything is solid considering the way I attack this thing. My grandfathers after a year has only a few paint nicks and normal wear with the scoring lines still visible. He swears by the club as do I.

Review Summary: Bottom line is you don't have to spend the big bucks to get good performance. Sure I could have bought a taylor made R580 for 429.00 off the rack and done decent but I doubt much better if any than a club I got to make myself with the specs I need. If you are in the market for a new driver give this a try at diamondtourgolf.com With so many after market shafts to choose from there you cant go wrong and won't get stuck with a stock shaft from dept store.
