On 2004-10-22, Kevin OBrien rated this Integra 450 cc SoooLong II Bi-Face a 5...(4662)

Purchase: Got it from www.golf-components.com paid 58.00 for the head and 53.00 for a spined shaft
Pros: I have played the first Sooolong 450R non-conforming and loved it then I played the conforming Sooolong 450 and thought it was solid and more consistent but didn't explode on purred hits like the non-conforming version no "wow factor". I swing at 109 to 113 mph and carry the ball 260 to 270 yards. I played both of these with Penley ETA Tour x-flex at 45.5" length. Distance loss on off-center hits was OK. I picked up a new TaylorMade R5 Type N with Graphite Design YS-7 in SX Flex and thought that this setup was the most consistent, longest average drive club I had ever hit. Feel suffers because of the inverted cone technology in the face, a little hard feeling. But performance was the best I have ever seen,ie: fairways hit, average yardage When I saw this new Bi-Face model I thought I'd give it a try with a new Harrison Striper Tour 70 x-flex shaft. Well I took to the range and wow what a club, excellent feel, awesome distance and forgiveness, a definite improvement over the first two revisions. I have played it on the course and am really impressed with this club it has that "wow factor" that few clubs offer. Best driver I have ever hit!! Don't skimp on the shaft!! The Harrison tour series and all Graphite Design models feature low resin content for better feel and control. All the Integra heads are 9 deg and the TaylorMade head is 9.5 deg.
Cons: Nothing, this is an awesome club.
Quality: The quality is first rate, to bad the resale value is not so good.

Review Summary: This driver head has got it all forgiveness, distance and feel.
