On 2004-06-27, Rob Anderson rated this Integra IV 320 cc 10* a 5...(3806)

Purchase: I bought this club online from Rangergolf.com, with a UST Proforce 65 (Stiff) shaft - for $100 (including shipping!). I had been hitting a Z-tour 9.5* steel head with steel shaft and wanted to hit the ball further.
Pros: Quality components, great price, right-size club head (I dont' like the huge ones).
Cons: Nothing.
Quality: I've only had it a week but the components are well known and have a reputation for quality. The construction seems great - no noticable flaws.

Review Summary: I hit my steel head driver 220-250 (Pacific Northwest - air and ground are moist) and I seem to be hitting this club 230-280 so a big improvement. All of my same swing flaws are still with me - about 1 in 5 drives I seem to either hook badly or slice badly. Regardless of what the marketing people say, - no clubhead is going to fix swing flaws. In fact a guy next to me at the driving range one day was hitting that new Taylor Made R7 with the configurable weights to affect flight path and he had a banana-ball slice no matter how he configured it! Today at the range there was a guy next to me trying out a Titleist Driver and a Taylor Made driver from the Pro Shop and he was hitting them 300+ yards. I was curious how mine would compare to those $300+ drivers so I asked him to hit a few with mine and he hit it just as far with mine! Awesome clubhead/shaft combination! If you get a clone, or custom club online however, remember not to go cheap on the shaft! Rule of thumb - clubhead and shaft should be somewhere close in price. The Proforce 65 is like $30 and well worth it.
