Purchase: Bought it used on ebay for $30; pretty well used butin good shape. Wanted to try a large headed driver before investing in an expensive one.
Pros: Everything about it has exceeded my expectations. Drives are at least 20 yards beyond my usual drives and the best ones are 50 yards better. I am 76 years old and my swing has slowed considerably; also back problems limit me but with this club and a smooth swing I have managed 220 to 250 yards on a regular basis. Drives are high and straight.
Cons: It's not a problem for me but you just can't work the ball. You might find the loud ping at impact annoying but to me it is the sound of music.It is a bit hard to look down on a 550cc; looks like a ham on a stick.
Quality: Head is well made and finished. Mercury 46 inch performance shaft in regular flex is attractive and handles the big head well. Royal cord grip works well and looks and feels good.

Review Summary: Older guys like me need to try one of these big ones; they'll make you feel younger. I've found that the initial amusement of my (younger)foursome about this club turned to amazement after I consistently put my ball past them and stopped trying to remember exactly where in the rough I had gone. They are easy to find in the fairway.
