Purchase: Let me start by saying, the Intergra Super 450 was originally the second driver I ever owned after having started playing golf three years ago. I once broke the club head by accident (not during normal play) and then decided to change out of curiosity. Since then I played different integra models, Adams and Mizuno drivers with relatively good results but never again reached the distances I reached with the Super 450. After having experienced now with many drivers over the last two years and having lost quite a bit of confidence in my driving ability I thought I go back and try the Super 450 again to see whether it's my swing or the drivers that led to the loss of distance and consistency. I ordered another Super 450 of the Internet (as I live currently in Asia and those clubs are not locally available here), assembled it with a Harrisson Wide body firm flex shaft and took it to the range. What a reliev, it wasn't my swing!!!! The club did the same thing it did two years ago,- produced nice long and straight drives with absolutely no effort from my side. The head admittingly is huge and some might not like it. I too prefer the look of my Adams 363-R or my Mizuno T3 Mighty Big (which looks like mighty small in comparison to the Super 450) but when I look at performance they can't match up to the Super 450. I know that sometimes it is the shaft and not the head that determins the performance but take my word for it, I tried everd club with at least 4 different shafts and the results were always the same. I also tried the new Integra Sooo Long 450 which is supposingly the newer and therefore more technologically advanced version. Didn't do it for me I have to say, not a bad club either but again, not the same results than with my Integra Super 450. Now I konw that there are golfers who just don't like to play something that doesn't have a big brand name ion it,- guess what, I am actually one of them! But after having achieved average results witrh the so called big names, I found it much more pleaseing for my ego to outdrive my playing partners by 30-50 yards with a club head that costs me 60,-! Now when tey hit a 5 iron into the green, I usually hit a 9 iron in and that does make a huge difference!
All I can say is, if you have trouble with your drives, go try an Integra 450, it's worth a try especially at that cost.
Pros: Excellent quality, very easy to hit and extremely long. Beat any big name driver I ever used and will stay in my bag for a very very long time.
Cons: Some might not like the big head, but I got used to it and don't mind it at all anylonger
Quality: Flawless! Integra always produces top of th eline quality and I can recommend their products to anyone
Review Summary: Best driver I ever hit and not just because of the low price. Best results ever achieved!
